California Massage
This technique originates from Esalen Massage. Esalen Massage is also referred to as the “art of conscious touch.” It is a full-body massage consisting of light, flowing strokes along the entire length of the body, passive joint movements, and deep structural work on muscles and joints. Gentle, rocking movements — combined with energetic balancing of the body and always performed in harmony with the breath — are characteristic of Esalen Massage.
